Have you ever wished that you could get the smokey eye look that celebrities have been sporting for decades? It’s simple to get beautiful, smokey eyes. Just follow these steps:

Use a primer. An eyelid primer will remove all the oils from the eyelid, allowing your eyeshadow to stay in place longer.

Apply your eyeliner, which can be a brown, dark green, charcoal, violet, or any other color that will match with the chosen eyeshadow.

Find a ‘light base’. A lighter shade of eyeshadow will be swept up from the eyelid to the brow bone, and then blended gently.

Use eyeliner in a lighter color along the bottom lashes, and cover with a light smudge of eyeshadow.

Use a darker eyeshadow on your eyelid, covering the eyeliner, and blending it together so that the eyeliner no longer shows.

Blend in the eyeshadow where the lighter and darker hues meet.

Use an eyelash curler or brush to separate lashes, and use a volumizing mascara in a dark color on both the top and bottom lids. Always opt for waterproof, to keep from any smudging your running. Try to apply two or three coats.

Make sure that the rest of your makeup is not too heavy.
