Apple MacBook Pro MB991LL/A 13.3-Inch Laptop

Those of us who use a laptop know that these things are absolutely invaluable and getting the right one is worth its weight in gold. It comes down to the big question of Apple or Windows for many folks, but for me the money should always go to a MacBook simply because there just are not all that many hassles. Since I picked up the new MacBook Pro when I needed to upgrade, I have to say the best feature of this machine is the 13 inch screen. It is a sight to behold and as everyone knows, Mac rocks when it comes to graphics. The 2.53 Ghz Core 2 processor is blazing fast and 4 GB of RAM means you can run basically anything at all on this machine without it lagging at all. I love the Snow Leopard OS because in my opinion it is the best MacOS out there so far. Since this MacBook is just under 9 lbs in total weight, it isn’t a strain on the lap in case you are in a lot of situations where you do not have a table or desk ready. The touch pad feature is a total plus and makes the laptop super handy, plus you get 7 solid hours of battery power per charge so you are not going to have to worry about dimming out.

For under $1,500 Apple does not provide a better MacBook so I definitely feel this one is a solid bargain that is more than worth the cost of investing in it. I like the clam shell casting and think it makes a nice looking laptop without the clunky look of many Windows laptops out there.

HP ENVY 13-1130NR 13.3-Inch Magnesium Alloy Laptop

Lately, HP has been working some real miracles when it comes to putting together laptops. Having been in the last year of my college studies, I found myself wanting a new machine, but I needed something affordable on a meager student budget. The HP laptops I had seen were not too pricey and definitely gave really solid performance. The ENVY series particularly impressed me just due to the sheer power of the machine itself. I doubted I could afford one, but my family decided it could be a graduation gift so when I started making use of it I found out the 3 GB of RAM is what makes all of the difference. This is one fast PC, with Windows 7 Home Premium already installed. It’s a breeze to use and just under 4 lbs so taking it anywhere you want to is super easy. Those in the professional world will understand that portability is everything and being able to take this laptop anywhere at all without a strain is probably the best reason to find a way to afford the $1,500 price tag. It is going to give the best value over time due to that and for me, a student machine is not what I needed. I wanted a PC laptop that would be a tool for me in the professional world and that is exactly what this HP ENVY is offering. If you have been sitting on the fence about an HP laptop I can’t recommend this one strongly enough simply due to what an all around powerful machine it has proven to be.
